Hugger Belt System - Sweet Success

A large chocolate manufacturer required a system to apply pressure sensitive labels to the bottom of five different sizes of filled and closed candy packages at speeds up to 60 products per minute. Label-Aire designed a product handling system to accommodate various shrink wrapped trays.

3115 Hugger Belt System - Wet Dilema

A large water bottle company required a system to apply pressure sensitive labels to the top of bottle caps for its 5 gallon water bottles. The valve cover cap labels feature an FDA-approved adhesive. Previously these caps were labeled by hand, because of the cap's protruding tear-tab, which made it impossible to place it face up and flat on a normal conveyor belt. Label-Aire designed a custom product handling conveyor which allows the valve cover cap to be applied from beneath.

Inline 6000 Front/Back Zero Downtime Labeling System - Gallon Jug Labeling Solution

A plastic gallon jug manufacturer needed to label the front and back of the jugs to satisfy its customers' needs. With a 24/7 production capacity, the manufacturer needed continuous labeling capacity with no downtime. To solve this need, Label-Aire equipped its versatile Inline Series 6000 labeling system with four rugged 3115 Wipe-On applicators in a Zero Downtime configuration. This custom system ensures continuous operation by switching the paired label applicators when low label count is reached.

2138 Print and Apply System

Fetzer Vineyards needed a means to color code their various types of wines. They chose to change from a print on demand labeling system to print & apply to differentiate between various types of wines. The color coding system has improved efficiency by allowing forklift operators to identify shipping boxes from their seats.

Security Tags Stop Food Theft

Attaching electronic article surveillance (EAS) tags to retail products is seen as a vital means of controlling retail shrink losses. Security tag labels are available in both acousto magnetic and radio frequency (RF) types, allowing customers to choose the tags to match their existing store equipment. Shrink Sleeve Labelers Stop Tampering

Food tampering is a constant threat which has manufacturers constantly searching for ways to make tampering evident. Shrink labels are a popular means of sealing bottles and containers. The perforated labels break easily allowing customers to know when a product has been tampered with. Full sleeve labels allow for food ingredients and nutrition information to be included on a form fitting label which incorporates a safety tamper-evident seal as part of the design. The product passes into the sleeving machine where the sleeve is exposed to heat, causing it to shrink to the contours of the container, sealing it against tampering.
