Shrink Label Solutions From Label-Aire

Shrink labels are package conforming, non-adhesive sleeves, which allow 360 degrees of product information. Shrink labels fit snugly around the container contours and can be full length or shorter to fit your production needs.

Benefits:

The product information is printed on the cylindrical sleeve in much the same way it would be printed on a standard adhesive label. Unlike a standard adhesive label, shrink labels do not have to be concerned about the package surface contours, or confine printing to a small area. The entire sleeve label may be printed with product information.

Shrink-to-fit labels offer a solution for labeling bottles and other contoured packaging on which it would otherwise be difficult to print product information. The tamper-evident cap seals allow customers to buy with confidence, and allows them to reject products on which the safety seal has been broken.

Application:

Machines spread the label and slide over the package or bottle, in preparation for shrinking. The package then travels through a heat tunnel. Exposure to heat causes the label to shrink and conform to the contours of the container assuring firm contact to the product.

Heat Shrink Label Sleeve Applicators:

Label-Aire's new Sleeve Applicator Series 8300 offers fast efficient application of shrink labels, applying up to 250 sleeves per minute. The 8300 is designed to handle a complete range of industry standard shrink sleeve labels from full body sleeves to tamper resistant/evident protection sleeves.

Label-Aire's Sleeve Applicator Series 8500 has all of the features of the 8300, but is designed to handle up to 400 products per minute. Both shrink sleeve labeling machines can handle a wide range of container shapes and sizes, and have easy to operate PLC controls.
